Our team—includes a designer, project manager, carpenters, installers and fabricators that work together to deliver quality renovations tailored to your preferences and lifestyle. 

• What types of projects do you specialize in? We specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodels, flooring, interior & exterior painting, entire-home remodels and light commercial projects.

• Will you help with the design process? A-Team Remodeling offers an in-house designer that works directly with the clients to select materials, providing drawings or illustrations to see the finished project before it starts and collaborating with the client's own design vision to ensure satisfaction at the completion of the project.

• The process begins with an initial consultation meeting between you and our team. During this meeting, we discuss your project in detail to understand your needs and expectations.

• After gathering all necessary details from the consultation, we provide you with an itemized estimate outlining the costs and scope of the project.

• Agreement and Deposit

• Once you review and agree to the estimate, a deposit is required to move forward. This secures your project and allows us to begin work.

• Design Phase

• Our team guides you through the design phase, helping you with design choices and selecting materials that best fit your vision.

• Implementation and Completion

• We manage the implementation of your project with skilled craftsmanship, working diligently to complete the project on time. Our goal is to deliver results that meet your expectations and ensure your satisfaction.

• How Much Will My Project Cost?

• Remodeling costs can vary significantly depending on the scope of your project, the materials you choose, and the overall complexity involved. We are committed to working within your budget and strive to identify potential savings wherever possible. While we make every effort to control costs, some economic factors are beyond our control. Nevertheless, we always aim to deliver the best possible value for your investment.

• Do you provide a free estimate? We do offer free in-home consultations

• What is included in your estimate? A-Team Remodeling provides a high level of detail that clients can expect in their quote, such as material allowances, labor, and permits if necessary. 

• Deposit and Scheduling

• After the initial estimate is approved and signed, a deposit is required to begin the design phase and secure a place on our project schedule. This initial deposit ensures that your project is prioritized and that our team can commence the necessary preparations.

• Materials Payment

• Once the materials have been selected and the associated final costs are determined, a larger payment is required to cover these material expenses. This step ensures that all materials are ordered and available for the timely progression of your project.

• Progress Payments

• As the project moves forward and demolition is completed, progress payments are collected as work is visibly completed. This phased payment structure allows you to manage your finances more effectively throughout the duration of the project, with payments aligned to tangible milestones.

• How do you handle changes to the original plan? Any add-on work or unforeseen work that must be addressed is added via "change orders," including new costs and timeline impacts.

Project timeline and logistics

• How long does a typical project take? The duration of a project is directly influenced by its defined scope of work. For projects with a limited or straightforward scope, completion may be achieved within just a couple weeks. However, as the complexity of the project increases, the timeline can extend significantly, sometimes spanning several months. The overall timeframe is therefore determined by the specific requirements and intricacies involved in each project.

• Will you handle securing the necessary permits? A-Team Remodeling will manage all required building permits and inspections.

• Can I live in my home during the renovation? Homeowners often wonder whether they can remain in their homes while renovation work is underway. The answer largely depends on the scope of the project. In many cases, it is possible for homeowners to continue living in their home during construction. However, certain phases of the renovation may make this difficult or impractical.

• When It May Be Necessary to Relocate

• During specific periods of the renovation process, such as when all the flooring is being demolished or when the entire interior of the home is being repainted, it may be best for homeowners to temporarily relocate. These activities can make living conditions uncomfortable or even unsafe, so planning for alternative accommodations during these times is advisable.

• How can I prepare my home for the renovation? 

• Clients are advised to remove any valuables from the work area before construction begins. Additionally, it is important to clear the space of furniture and any other items that may obstruct the construction team’s access or workflow.

• Assistance with Heavy Furnishings

• If clients require help relocating heavy furniture or other large items, A-Team Remodeling offers a service to assist with moving these furnishings out of the work area.

• How will you protect my home from dust and debris? Our construction team diligently ensures that the job site is cleaned and organized at the end of each workday. Additionally, all tools, including wet saws and other equipment, are securely stored in a designated safe area on the site.

• What are the work hours? 

• The construction crew's typical work schedule runs from Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. These regular hours are established to provide structure and predictability for both the team and project management.

• Schedule Variations

• There are instances when the crew's schedule may need to be adjusted. On some days, crew members may be required to pick up materials or supplies before arriving at the job site, which may occur outside the normal start time. Additionally, if tasks such as those requiring drying or setting times are completed earlier than expected, the crew may leave prior to 5:00 PM. In situations where it benefits the client, the crew may also work on weekends to ensure project deadlines are met.

• What is your communication process during the project? The client’s main point of contact during the construction process will be the project manager, but the designer will often stop in to meet with the installers to confirm that installations are correct and design elements are implemented correctly.

• Warranty and follow-up?

• Do you offer a warranty on your work? A-Team Remodeling guarantees our workmanship and quality for two years once completed, which is the industry standard. 

• What is your policy for "punch list" items?

• When a project reaches at least 90% completion, A-Team Remodeling schedules a walkthrough with the client. During this walkthrough, both parties carefully review the work completed to date and compile a comprehensive list of any remaining tasks or minor punch items that need to be addressed before the project is finalized.
